Project Description:
On the A10 Tauern motorway between the Golling junction and the Werfen half-junction (motorway – km 29.10 – km 42.30) 10 tunnels with a total length of approx. 10,430 m and numerous civil engineering structures are being completely renovated.
In the course of the general renovation from 2023 to 2025 all structural & electromechanical system parts in all tunnel and civil engineering structures as well as all open-air areas are being refurbished. The total length of the construction lot is 13.2 km. Between the two tunnel tubes the Ofenauer and Hiefler tunnels, new cross-cuts and niches are being excavated and lined by mining. The general renovation will take place in 2 main construction phases with summer breaks to avoid traffic jams caused by the intensive summer tourist traffic.
