This time, we met from September 18 to 19 at the Bio Natur Resort Hotel Retter in Pöllauberg, which provided the perfect setting for two eventful days.

The Underground Construction Day began with a special highlight — a workshop with double world champion Lizz Görgl. Together, we focused on topics such as fitness, nutrition, and health, gaining valuable insights for everyday life. Afterwards, the team-building activity “Chain Reaction” was on the agenda — a program that required creativity, skill, and above all, team spirit. In small groups, participants solved various tasks, resulting in many entertaining moments.

In the afternoon, there were exciting technical presentations by the management and the heads of the underground construction division. They provided a comprehensive overview of current developments, presented ongoing underground construction projects, and introduced the new microtunnelling division. The day concluded in a convivial atmosphere with a wine tasting and a shared dinner.

On the second day, a series of interesting technical lectures took place. The focus topics were cost estimation, compliance, occupational safety, and digitalization — all of which are of central importance to our work in underground construction. The management and division heads were very pleased with the high level of participation and great interest shown by all attendees, which once again made the Underground Construction Day a successful and valuable event.
