Project Description:

The units of projects PA 2.2 Albaufstieg with the Boßler- and the Steinbühltunnel has a length of 14.5 km. Between the north-western, 8,806 m long Boßler Tunnel and the south-eastern, 4.8047 m long Steinbühltunnel, the two 485 m, respectively 472 m long Filstalbrücken which are not included in the order of the projekt.
The two tubes of the Boßlertunnel are conventionally excavated with a TVM. The main section of the intermediate attack Umpfental is conventional driven. About 2,800 m will be excavated from the portal Aichelberg with a TVM.
Both drivings of the Steinbühltunnel took place from the building pit Pfaffenäcker in shotcrete construction. The tunnels are designed to be pressure-tight.
