Project Description:

For the railway project “Stuttgart 21”, during full operation, the above-ground terminus station is reconstructed into an underground through station rotated by 90 °. Within the scope of construction lot 1a “Fildertunnel”, our consortium builds the around
9.5 km long Fildertunnel, which connects to the southern end of the new main train station. The construction lot 1b “Tunnel Ober- /Untertürkheim”, likewise assigned to the consortium, is an around
6 km long tunnel running from Stuttgart’s main train station towards Ober-/Untertürkheim. The special challenge in that represents tunnelling of the river Neckar.
